5.2.20 – What Would’ve Been

What Would’ve Been

OUTFIT OPTION 1

I wore this Madewell crochet sweater tank with ruffle sleeve details on Nordstrom. I am a huge fan on ruffles, love that it is a tank for warmer days, and a perfect layering items for cooler days. Similar tanks can be found here, and here.

Over my top I wore this jean jacket that I have had for probably seven years, so my exact jean jacket is not available. My jean jacket that I am wearing is from American Eagle. A very similar jean jacket (cropped, color, style) is this J. Crew Factory Classic Jean Jacket. Jean jackets should be in everyone’s closet. I specifically like a cropped jean jacket because I am a fan of high waisted items, and I like the way it looks with dresses. I potentially want an oversized jean jacket, but have not made the plunge yet. Other similar jean jackets can be found here, and here.

I just bought these leopard pull on pants from Ann Taylor a few weeks ago, they are currently out of stock, hopefully they’ll be restocked. Similar pants can be found here, and here.

I wore a pair of Rothy’s The Point in Black Solid. I have been wanting a pair of Rothy’s for a while and finally took the plunge. I felt I would be able to get a lot of use out of them while in the office, and they are machine washable! I did order a whole size up in The Point. I haven’t tried other styles yet, but am thoroughly enjoying The Point’s! If you would like $20 off, click here.

The pair of leather earrings I am OBSESSED with are these Black Bloch Leather Earrings with Tortoise Post.

For my clean lipstick, I am wearing Beautycounter’s Color Intense Lipstick in Backstage, a perfect beige pink nude.

OUTFIT OPTION 3

When I initially bought this white, eyelet dress from Old Navy, I bought it online, never tried it on, etc. When I first tried it on, I liked it, wasn’t in love with the dress. I’ve worn the dress a few times since buying it, and I have gotten a ton of compliments. It is super comfortable, and I have gotten to a point where I really like the dress. I’ve paired it with a jean jacket the times that I have worn the dress. As much as I love my prints and patterns, there is also something nice about simplicity. Whether that is white, or black [I usually wear a lot of black], there is something refreshing about a simple outfit. Similar white dresses can be found here and here.

I bought this batwing sleeve sweater from Marshall’s this past winter. It is so comfortable, and perfect for a lazy day of working in my bed! I tied the bottom corner of my sweater to make it less baggy. Similar sweaters can be found here, and here.

With the outfit, I wore a pair of white canvas sneakers. I went with the sneakers for a comfort and casual look. Similar sneakers can be found here, and here.

Similar button ups can be found here, and here.
