7.6.19

Hello short week because of the 4th of July! I had the 4th off and went to Chicago to see the Tigers play the White Sox, and then took Friday off as well (first non-holiday off since my trip).

SATURDAY June 29th

I love this linen-blend jumpsuit from Old Navy. I purchased it online, and love the fit, comfort, and stylish ruffles that this jumpsuit offers. Similar jumpsuits can be found here, and here.

With my outfit, I wore these adorable shooties from ShoeDazzle! I kept looking on JustFab for a pair of nude/taupe shooties but they were pretty much all sold out in my size! When I found these on ShoeDazzle, I couldn’t pass them up! Similar shooties can be found here, and here.

One last item is this envelope clutch/crossbody in rose pink from Amazon. This clutch has so much room and comes in MANY colors.

I wore these split bold hoops from Target with my outfit.

Layered necklaces are all the rage right now and have been for over a year (I mean my grandma always wore layered necklaces at least ever since I was born). I love the pendant layered necklaces, and when I came across these Target Chain Link with Coin Charms Layered Necklace I couldn’t pass them up.

I wore Beautycounter’s Color Intense Lipstick in Daydream. Unfortunately it is not sold separately at this time. It was in a holiday mini collection, that is no longer available. This was a great purchase and has limited edition colors! Beautycounter’s other Color Intense Lipstick can be found here.

SUNDAY June 30th

I bought this polka dot dress recently from Target. I loved the rust color of the dress. Fall colors are my favorite. Similar dresses can be found here, and here.

With my outfit, I wore a pair of white sandals from DSW. Similar sandals can be found here, and here.

I used an old Coach white wristlet. It is probably 8 years old, so I cannot find this clutch, but affordable similar options can be found here, and here.

With my outfit I wore a pair of medium White Nova Leather Earrings.

I wore Beautycounter’s Color Intense Lipstick in Boardwalk. Unfortunately it is not sold separately at this time. It was in a holiday duo collection, that is STILL AVAILABLE! I kept going back and forth on if I wanted to purchase them, but really love BOTH colors in the duo! Beautycounter’s other Color Intense Lipstick can be found here.

MONDAY July 1st

I’ve wanted a plaid blazer for a while now, and finally found one from boohoo that looked perfect online, and it was perfect! I love the sleeves and length of the blazer. Similar blazers can be found here, and here.

Under my blazer, I wore a white button up blouse from JustFab. This blouse is simple, elegant, and feminine. I love that this button up blouse’s length is that of a tunic, because I have been able to wear it multiple ways. I am also a fan of the material because it drys quickly and does not wrinkle easily. Similar button ups can be found here, and here.

I wore a pair of black tie waist pants I recently purchased from SheIn. When I purchase items from SheIn, I make sure to read reviews, since items can vary from side to side. My take with online orders, always size up if you’re unsure. Similar pants can be found here, and here.

I wore a pair of Rothy’s The Point in Black Solid. I have been wanting a pair of Rothy’s for a while and finally took the plunge. I felt I would be able to get a lot of use out of them while in the office, and they are machine washable! I did order a whole size up in The Point. I haven’t tried other styles yet, but am thoroughly enjoying The Point’s! If you would like $20 off, click here.

I used a cognac and rust colored purse that I bought from Target last year. Similar purses can be found here, and here.

I had been wanting a rust colored pair of Nickel and Suede earrings, and they finally came out with one! I couldn’t pass it up. Rust is my go to Fall color. I am wearing the large Rust leather earrings. These particular earrings are no longer available, all Nickel & Suede earrings can be found here.

For my clean lipstick, I am wearing Beautycounter’s Color Intense Lipstick in Backstage, a perfect beige pink nude.

TUESDAY July 2nd

I am a huge fan of linen pants. I already had a pair of black, and wanted a more neutral color. I bought these beige linen pants from Amazon this past week. They are BEYOND comfortable.

I wore this jean jacket that I have had for probably seven years, so my exact jean jacket is not available. My jean jacket that I am wearing is from American Eagle. A very similar jean jacket (cropped, color, style) is this Old Navy New Medium Authentic Denim Jacket. Jean jackets should be in everyone’s closet. I specifically like a cropped jean jacket because I am a fan of high waisted items, and I like the way it looks with dresses. I potentially want an oversized jean jacket, but have not made the plunge yet. Other similar jean jackets can be found here, and here.

Underneath my jacket I wore a white bodysuit I got from Amazon.com. I absolutely love this bodysuit. It is thick, and I can for sure go without a bra while wearing it. I also have it in black.

With my outfit I wore a new pair of tan and white mules I bought from Target. I love neutrals, so I knew I would get a lot of wear out of these! Also slip on’s are just GREAT! Similar mules can be found here, and here.

For my accessories, I chose a cognac crossbody purse from Target that I purchased a few years ago. Similar purses can be found here, and here.

I wore a new pair of wood earrings from Target’s A New Day brand.

WEDNESDAY July 3rd

If you haven’t noticed from my blog posts from over the past year, I AM OBSESSED with wide leg pants. I recently found these striped wide leg pants from H&M. I didn’t have any with these colors (blue and white), and they were comfy and looked cute, so I had to get them! Similar pants can be found here, and here.

I tucked in a white tank that I’ve had for a few years. Similar tanks can be found here, and here.

For my accessories, I chose a cognac crossbody purse from Target that I purchased a few years ago. Similar purses can be found here, and here.

With the outfit, I wore a pair of white canvas sneakers. I went with the sneakers for a comfort and casual look. Similar sneakers can be found here, and here.

I wore a new pair of wood earrings from Target’s A New Day brand.

I truly feel like a red lip is always a must. I have been using Beautycounter’s Color Intense Lipstick and their matte red is Girls’ Night.

THURSDAY July 4th

I am not a short person and barely have any in my wardrobe. I bought these shorts a few days prior since I was going to a baseball game in HOT weather. I wanted a pair that were a big loose around the thigh, and high waisted. I found these Wild Fable high waisted mom jean shorts for $15, which is a great deal! Similar shorts can be found here, and here.

With the outfit, I wore a pair of white canvas sneakers. I went with the sneakers for a comfort and casual look. Similar sneakers can be found here, and here.

For my accessories, I chose a cognac crossbody purse from Target that I purchased a few years ago. Similar purses can be found here, and here.

Since it is the middle of summer the jean shorts I bought were about a size too big, so I wore a cognac belt that I use for dresses. A similar belt can be found here.

Since it was the 4th of July, I wanted to wear red lipstick, and wanted a red and white striped tee. I bought these tee from Amazon a few days prior.

I wanted to wear one of my navy baseball caps for my something blue. I wore my vintage blue Detroit Tigers cap.

I also wore these large Nickel & Suede White Cork Leather Earrings.

I truly feel like a red lip is always a must. I have been using Beautycounter’s Color Intense Lipstick and their matte red is Girls’ Night.

Cheap sunglasses are my favorite! I tend to lose, scratch, or break sunglasses, so I always love a good dupe. These Amazon vintage round sunglasses have stayed in great shape this past year. I don’t want to bring an expensive pair of sunglasses on a trip because of the fact that I will likely lose them.

xoxo,

Jess
